Research

Development of Rigorous Custom Research and Analysis of Existing Data. Unlike many consultants who “reinvent the wheel” with new projects, my associates and I possess comprehensive knowledge of up-to-date cutting-edge academic research. This knowledge is our point of departure in any research created for clients, as well as analysis of existing data. Our content areas of expertise include mentoring and sponsorship; racial and gender identity dynamics; contextual effects of the larger society; networks and interpersonal relationships; managerial behavior; sexual harassment; and corporate responsibility.

Consulting & Implementation

Provision of Key Insights for Creating Change. Our work focuses on creating and supporting inclusion of under-represented groups. Whether your company or firm is early in its inclusion journey, is challenged by structural changes through mergers or acquisitions, or has encountered any number of roadblocks and is looking to reinvigorate commitment to diversity and inclusion, we can be of assistance. We’ll help diagnose the underlying causes of issues related to gender, race and ethnicity, including but not limited to managerial dynamics, team engagement, performance management, compensation, and engagement of allies.

Speaking

Fact-Based, Motivational Speeches Tailored for Variety of Audiences. Our speaking engagements will educate and inform managers and employees on the importance of inclusion, and will motivate them to commit to and support inclusion initiatives. We can also use speaking engagements to broadcast the organization’s dedication to, and support of, an inclusive work environment, in ways that will motivate employees to support the tenets of the initiative.

Coaching

Creation of Buy-in, Support of D&I Strategies among Executives and Managers. At times there are key players whose lack of commitment to supporting D&I initiatives hinders success. Challenges and opportunities to inclusiveness exist in leadership and individual behavior, in communication, and in talent management systems that are crucial for the organization to address. We can help address gaps in support of D&I initiatives through one-on-one engagement.

Katherine is an extraordinary thinker carving out research projects that have expanded the conversation about the challenges women of differing backgrounds are facing in the workplace. Whether on T.V. or before a convention hall full of professionals, she can captivate her audience with her expertise and speaking ability. Moreover, the organizations that I have led have used her research and various reports to develop new approaches to diversity management issues.
